When looking for an escape game to try in Budapest (as recommended by our travel guides) we didn't want to stray too far from our lodgings so we picked this one based on its location and previous review. It was simply lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The price was great and the game was challenging. We did the Communist-themed task and though it was low-tech it was still thrilling. There was one clue hampered by the language barrier which the lady on the other side of the locked door was more than happy to rectify.

On completion of the task we were presented for drinks vouchers for the ruin bar in the hostel above which was lovely. A great evening.We stumbled upon this while seeing a sign at Gozsdu Udvar. Located under the most famous ruin bar in Budapest, Ankert. The gentleman running the rooms was so friendly and lovely. He was great fun and clearly had done a lot of research to construct the rooms. We were allowed to take drinks in there (being from Aus this is a bonus) - so we decided to do 1 shot every 15min for extra fun. The puzzles were very well thought out. We finished with 3 min left, and had 2 hints throughout.
AbmeisterExciting rooms with unique themes, it was a bit hard to escape but real fun. The staff was really friendy, they even gave us advice about restaurants nearby. I would try their other rooms if I was in Budapest.
DoraWe went as one of my friends work there with a group of friends and we really enjoyed every second of the challenge! We chose the Bond themed room and it was a perfect match for our group! The design is awesome, the tasks are doable and the staff is always ready to help!! We loved it and i definitely recommend it to anyone!
LauraWe picked the James Bond theme room. The staff told us it was quite difficult so we wanted a challenge. The room was very bond-like, and there were a lot of distractions. We made it out in time, but barely. It was a nice experience. You should really try it. The staff is very friendly and the level of English is very good. Helpful people!!! Worth visiting and it it is well worth the money.
FlorisWe had the opportunity to play in the Mysteries in Hogwarts room. It´s not only recommended for fans, but to those as well who have never read the books or seen the movies. Great atmosphere, nice decoration, lovely staff and an enjoyable game - highly recommended for those who´d like to have fun!
